SUSPENDED FALSE CEILING ACOUSTIC TREATMENT

Acoustic Treatment was carried out for Titan Headquarters in Electronic City, Bangalore. The process involved the installation of Wood Wool Boards (Pine Wood Acoustic Panels) which were suspended from the ceiling using Steel Wires.

ACOUSTIC TREATMENT

Any form of internal or external distractions within an office environment leads in the decline of employee productivity and increase in work dissatisfaction. In an open plan office, noise and echo is considered to be one of the leading factors in the decline of employee productivity and low morale when compared to other distractions such as lighting, temperature and air quality.

Thus, in order to improve the efficiency of employees, Acoustic Treatment was carried out in Titan Headquarters, Bangalore. The process involved in the installation of Acoustic Panels which were suspended using G.I wires and Height Adjustable fasteners. The Acoustic Panels were further spray painted and installed above all the cubicles. This not only helped in improving the Acoustics of the Work place but also improved the aesthetics of the room.

DESIGN AND AESTHETICS

A Floating Ceiling option was adopted for this particular project. All the Acoustic Panels were suspended from the ceiling at a height of 1 meter. The wires used for suspending the panels were 1mm thick; which created the illusion of floating panels. Inspite of the wire being very thin, they were very strong in nature and in no means affected the stability and security of the Acoustic Panels. The Panels were further spray painted based on the theme adopted on to each floor. The Acoustic Panels not only improved the aesthetics but also complimented the other elements present in the room.
