Acoustic Treatment was carried out for a Conference room in Electronic City, Bangalore. The process was carried out for both the Walls and False Ceiling. The Acoustic Treatment process included:

ACOUSTIC TREATMENT
With multiple reflective surfaces present in the room, the echo and noise was very high. Due to which, conducting meetings was very difficult. Thus, in order to solve the echo problem, a 6 layer acoustic treatment process was carried out for the walls and a combination of gypsum board false ceiling and grid ceiling was carried out for the False ceiling.
The Conference room Acoustic Panels for the walls included a Plywood framework with an infill of Rockwool insulation and Wood Wool Acoustic Board. The Acoustic Board was further finished off with a Gripper track system, PU Acoustic Foam and Polyester Fabric. Whereas, for the ceiling, a combination of Gypsum board false with an infill of Polywool insulation foam was installed and on the remaining areas, grid false ceiling comprising of Mineral fiber acoustic Ceiling tile was installed.
This Acoustic Treatment Process helped in achieving an N.R.C Level of 0.95. Thus, removing the excessive echo present in the Conference room.
CONFERENCE ROOM ACOUSTIC PANEL DESIGN
A simple yet elegant design was chosen for the Walls. The Conference room Acoustic Panels were installed at two levels. The 1st level was installed directly on to the wall; whereas, the 2nd level was elevated by 2 inches from the 1st. The Acoustic panels formed equal vertical rectangular panels and were covered with Dark blue and Grey Fabric. The alternate colors not only complimented each other but also gave a very good contrasting effect.
False Ceiling Acoustic Treatment consisted of a combination of Suspended Grid False Ceiling and Gypsum Board False ceiling. The Gypsum Board false ceiling had a cove light provision on the borders and Suspended Grid Ceiling comprised of JITEX Mineral Fiber Acoustic Ceiling tile supported on JITEX T – Grid channels. With good Spot and Ambient lighting, the Wall Panelling and False Ceiling complimented each other and gave a very soothing and vibrant outlook.
