Wall Acoustics
In our endeavor to achieve optimal acoustics for the Home Theater setup in Hoskote, Bangalore, we employed a meticulously crafted combination of materials, each serving a crucial role in enhancing sound quality and immersion. The framework comprised sturdy plywood reapers. Within this structure, a layer of polyester wadding, 50mm thick 1000 GSM, was installed.
Building upon this foundation, we installed 18mm wood wool boards, renowned for their acoustic properties, further enhancing sound absorption and diffusion. To ensure seamless integration and aesthetic appeal, a PVC Gripper track system was employed, providing both functionality and visual finesse. Complementing these elements, PU foam was strategically applied to address any residual sound issues, creating a harmonious audio environment. Finally, the ensemble was finished with acoustic fabric.
False Ceiling
For the false ceiling acoustic treatment, we utilized three primary materials. Firstly, we installed a sturdy GI framework to create a solid base. Within this framework, we inserted a layer of 50mm thick polyester wadding 1000 GSM to absorb sound effectively. Following this, we installed 12mm gypsum boards atop the framework, providing additional sound insulation.
Finally, the entire structure was painted to match the aesthetic of the room, ensuring a seamless integration with the overall design. This combination of materials not only enhances sound quality but also contributes to the visual appeal of the space.
